1. You may scan your photo or take it to a professional scanning service and place your pictures on a disk, then send us the disk. Be sure to have the photos scanned at a minimum resolution of 300dpi and save it in an uncompressed file format. (Merci Beaucoup)
2. You may email your picture(s) to: deasdesigngallery@yahoo.com
3. Do not exceed the size limitation of photo attachment's by email.
4. The size limitation of files emailed to us at deasdesigngallery@yahoo.com is 10MB of each attachment, or total email attachments. These limitations are from your email providers, such as Yahoo, Hotmail, Aol, etc.
5. No photos from camera phones. Just because…the resolution is poor.
6. If you send the photo via regular mail, please use a photo mailer, if you don't have one, place the print(s) between two pieces of heavy cardboard for protection against bending. Write "Photographs - Do Not Bend" on the front and back of the photo mailer or a really sturdy envelope. We recommend also adding delivery confirmation.
7. A $25 scanning and handling fee will apply if you choose to send the photo via regular mail.
8. If you order requires multiple pictures, especially in our Custom Coffee Table Books), and you are sending the picture via mail, number the pictures on the back of the picture in the order you wish them to appear. Please use ink that will not mark the picture behind it. Advise which picture is for the cover, include names of those appearing in the picture, as well as description of pictures, ex: Rome. Italy. We accept up to 50 picture for the coffee table books.
9. If you are sending the picture via email, name picture one, picture two.etc. ex: Aunt Tilly Pic 1, Cousin Babka Pic 2.
10. If you are sending the pictures on a CD, have them scanned in the order you wish them to appear.
11. Any size photo from wallet (2 ½ X 3 ½) up to 8x10 may be used. Color as well as black and white photos may be used. Imperfections, such as damaged photos, poor color, etc. may be magnified if photo needs to be enlarged. If the photo is important to you, we recommend including it - regardless of its condition. Each photograph is individually handled, general composition is improved where needed.
12. At Dea's Design Gallery we are sensitive to how important your photos are to you & your family, we carefully handle your photographs. All photographs & Photographs on CD will be returned to you in the same condition received and unaltered in any way.
13. On custom work or photo retouching, a proof will be emailed for final approval. |
